Queen's Jubilee Celebrations

In June of 2022, the Queen and the entire Nation, celebrated her 70 years of her reign. On the 4th I was honored to capture content, for a local celebration held at The Old Rectory in Houghton-Le-Spring in Sunderland. The weather was beautiful, and after a few years of "lock downs", it was amazing to see people smiling, drinking, dancing and connecting and enjoying their time together.

"The Old Rectory is an iconic Grade 2* listed building in Houghton-Le-Spring.

As a thriving community hub for the North-East, we offer affordable co-working and office space,

events space and a range of community activities, groups and classes." https://theoldrectory.co.uk/

The event was organised and pulled together by an amazing group of volunteers, performers and actors.

As part of the event, there was a moment where we had three Rectors talking. One as the current Rector, while the second and third were actors, speaking as two of the previous Rectors, from the past. Those actors, who did a superb job, are part of The Broken Mask Theatre. https://www.instagram.com/brokenmasktheatre
